1. The One-Minute Thought

• I was impressed to know Peter had decided to take the plunge into the Internet Business world with not one but three websites launched just last Friday (30 Sep 05). • A few of our members were affected by the recent hurricane in US and had to evacuate their home. It was good to hear from them again after the hurricane was over. My hearts goes to them (especially to those whose home was destroyed). Neil took action to aid in this. Refer to this link for the details.

• Virus / Worms / Trojans are on the loose.  Be very careful when you handling emails attachment from unknown source.  Be also cautious when you received email from banks, paypal or stormpay asking for your pin number or password confirmation. From as far as I know such organizations do not email you to ask for those information.  Their email may even look very real/formal, but don't be fool. Give the actual bank a call or drop an email direct to paypal before you response to any further mails.

3. Review of Multilingual Marketer vs Page Translator

This is suitable if:

• you are creating your own content site which earns from Adsense advertisement income. This is one of my income streams from the Internet.

• you are building up your brand on international level.

• you need to increase the content of your website to serve international audience. This will also help in your search engine optimization strategy

This is not suitable if:

• you have a sales page in English and your product is in English.  This strategy works only if your product is also translated to the language.

• if your niche content site is so narrow that they is no advertisers from Google Adense. This happen to one of my site.

With the above in mind, I found 2 quality products namely, “Page Translator” and “Multilingual Marketer”.  I seen a lot of rave reviews of the later one and decided to give it a test-run.

My findings were interesting. Below is a summary as at the time of publishing this issue

In my test, I found that Multilingual Marketer is a better tool for my purpose of adding more Google Adsense income pages.  In my assessment, search engines will value such hard-coded static pages higher than compared to those created by Page Translator.  This is its greatest advantages.

Page Translater is suitable for online surfer of website in the various languages as it is able to create pages on the fly.  There in lies the problem.  As the pages are created on the fly, it will not be indexed as pages from your site.  However, having said that, Page Translator can be a quick fix to your translation needs.

With the opportunities to cash in on the huge non-English markets (English is the native language of less than a third of the online population), with hard-coded (even though imperfect!) translated pages, I strongly recommend "Multilingual Marketer".

4. Stock: How a new trader like me can earn US$100 within 3 hours in Forex Trading

He introduced me to his new currency trading manual that guides you to earning $500 to $1000 every week during your spare time directly from your computer.  Naturally I was skeptical of this claim.  I did not know if this was the real deal or just another hype.

So I took up the challenge and got hold of Amin's manual.  I read it over 6 days (1.5 hrs each round as I was supposed to be doing this in my spare time).  It is an excellent book for both newbies and experienced trader alike.  The first few modules teaches the basis of Technical Analysis while the later modules introduces a series of system in trading. You are encouraged to follow any of the system and modify to suit your needs.

So on 6 Oct, I rolled up my sleeves and did my first currency trading in mini-lots.  I was attacking EUR/USD using Amin's System C method. The first session took place during my dinner time over a span of 1 hour.  After setting my limit-sell and stop-loss order, I went off to catch up on TV before calling it a day.

On the following day (that is the day of this issue), I started my second currency trading session (again during my dinner time).  After analyzing the charts, I decided to follow Amin's System C again.  After placing my order to sell EUR/USD, I went back to dinner again amidst my wife grumbling in the background.

Before setting my limit-sell and stop-loss order for the day, I noticed that I had already earned over US$100 within the past 2 days trading in mini-lots.  The potential is there (as well as the risk).  I would strongly advice you to paper-trade (ie. demo trade) at least for 3 months before using your real money.  The manual will highlight where you can set up a demo account to paper-trade.

Anyway, I had a series of chat with Amin.  We agree that if my test is successful by next week, I will promote his manual to my list.  Amin not only agrees but also decided to lower his regular price for a period of 3 days only for my list members.

5. Infopreneur: Ebooks are Promotional Powerhouses

Ebooks are part of the new frontier of cyberspace. They are an entirely new medium for sharing marketing information, ideas, techniques, and expert knowledge. Each day the number of people accessing the Internet grows, causing the exposure of your ebook to increase incrementally. It's obvious why electronic self-publishing has become so popular so quickly.

The publishing industry, I hope, does not intend to forever banish the printed word to the dustbin of history. Books in print have their own special qualities and merits, and the world would be diminished by their disappearance.

Having said that, let's look at what makes ebooks so important and so unique. Ebooks have certain abilities and qualities that other mediums do not possess.

For example, ebooks are fairly easy to produce, and their production cost is inexpensive. Just think about it: you don't need a publisher, an agent, a printing press, offset film, ink, paper, or even a distributor. You just need a great concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software.

Additionally, ebooks are easily and rapidly distributed online. They are also easily updated; they do not require a second print run. All you need is to go into your original creation and modify the text or graphics. Because of this flexibility, ebooks can change and grow as fast as you can type.

Ebooks are also immediately obtainable. You don't have to go to a bookstore or search through endless titles at an online bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website, and presto! It's on your computer, ready to be read.

Ebooks are interactive. This is one of the most unique and specific qualities that ebooks offer. You can add surveys that need to be filled out, order forms for customers to purchase your products or goods, sound and video that draw your reader into the virtual world of your ebook, even direct links to relevant sites that will expand your ebook outward. The potential is virtually limitless.

Ebooks have a particular kind of permanence that other mediums do not possess. Television shows and radio shows air once, and then may rerun a few times. Ebooks remain on your computer for as long as your choose, and they can be read and reread whenever you choose to. They can even be printed out and stored on the shelves of your traditional home library.

Another wonderful quality is that ebooks have no barriers in terms of publishing. You don't need to go through the endless process of submitting your manuscript over and over again, and then once you land an agent, having the agent submit your manuscript over and over again. Nor do you have to shell out thousands of dollars for printing a self-published book. All ebooks require is a writer and appropriate software. Figure out your market, write your book, post it on your website, and with the right business savvy, your audience will come to you.

Finally, you have creative control over your ebook. You don't have to compromise with an editor or the publishing trends of the time. You don't have to haggle with a designer or wait for copyedited galleys to arrive by snail mail. You are in complete control of the design and the text.
